i receive most of my tips through my own tool, /microsub, which many of you know automates tip distribution /microsub's systems faithfully use allowance data from @degentokenbase's official APIs to determine how much $DEGEN to distribute each day allowances commonly fluctuate (sometimes drastically) day-to-day, and we were unaware at the time that there were bugs causing inflated allowances. /microsub did its job exactly as designed and tipped out those allowances fully. @fookinnowan and i discussed this and to my knowledge @jacek is aware of what happened. i'm not sure how he wants to address the situation; the tips were already sent (again, automatically) and recorded in Dune. i will support any decision @jacek makes on the matter above is my account of exactly what transpired, and anyone can verify as much by reviewing the public records on Dune i'm also happy to answer any questions whatsoever about the situation!

You are a great builder here, even though we had a dust up over the buggy tip bot way back 🤣 Definitely earned every tip you have received. People are getting a little melodramatic. I was unaware of the mcdegen exploit, wouldn’t have used it anyway. Even though approved wasn’t used in good faith by some, so the knives are out unfortunately.

i appreciate you! at least these discussions are happening out in public, as folks should be educated on what's really going on. i have no hard feelings about it
