"Won't it just be all the big accounts that win?" 1. We adjust for number of active followers, so big accounts get normalized a bit 2. We had a similar algo running every day since August with daily $5 USDC rewards 3. Accounts like @afrochicks started with few followers at the start of daily rewards and now have sizable (active) audiences. 4. I saw Vitalik at number 1 tho. He really could use the money I’ve heard. Doesn’t he post only a few times a week? Kind of disproves your thesis.

I understand. But we can’t just exclude Vitalik only because he has money, it’s about meaningful engagement, no? I think usually people find that Vitalik has interesting things to say, which is why he has that spot on the list

I personally understand that Vitalik is in the top X, I didn’t expect else. Yet I can also see that/why there are people who’ll think to themselves: why pay the rich? However, it is not about who has how much money—at all. It’s about rewarding who/what drives engagement farcasters enjoy, right? I’m not a particularly big account and I have received the 5 USDC reward before, I think twice.

Sorry I was being a joker concerning the money, my bad. I think it’s great that Vitalik likes to cast here. Imo it’s the best place for long conversations with people. Definitely not about the money. fwiw I won the 5 a few times, felt like a million for the acknowledgment
