One of my biggest beefs with coinbase, I was on base first week of testnet. Thinking they would do something to actually promote the chain. NADA
My feeling is they want to keep their distance bc of being the major BTC ETF custodians and fear of losing that bc of the SEC
Optimism does more to promote base than coinbase does by a mile
