True. It's really shocking how close the race still is after all this time and all this chaos. It scares me about the next 20 years. We can't even agree on objective reality and basic standards of human decency anymore.

I’m still hopeful, women will straighten this out bc even in red states every referendum on abortion has gone for woman right to choose. They have pushed half their agenda so far right that I can’t see some repercussions for their actions. On another positive note, my kids generation is bigger than the boomers and they are not having this shit.

That is true and very positive, and all the more frustrating that we are where we are at. Congress should have a mandatory retirement age. If you are statistically unlikely to be alive in 20 years, you have no business passing laws that will impact the economy or environment for decades
