Going to the UK I swapped my EURe for GBPe and the card was rejected. Turns out that as a resident of EU - I have to have EURe as my only asset loaded in order to pay. Means that I do not control the conversion rate, it is sub-par to my tradfi banking arrangements with multi currency accounts.
