The Final Release (1916) by Abanindranath Tagore in his book “Buddha and the gospel of Buddhism” “The butterfly counts not months but moments, and has time enough. Time is a wealth of change, but the clock in its parody makes it mere change and no wealth. Let your life lightly dance on the edges of Time”

First time I learned about this— is this self-immolation practice? 25 $DEGEN

Thanks MEK. No, I'm not thinking about self-immolation. I have my own interpretation of Tagore's poem. I think the poem invites readers to enjoy the present moment without wasting time planning the future or remembering the past. You can see my experience about it in my new channel about time perception /timecast
