Speaking about Etruscans, have we decipher yet why the Etruscan linguistical roots is seemingly detached from the rest of its region? I went to that rabbithole a couple years ago, but sadly there's not anything close to a conclusion just yet. 150 $DEGEN

Thanks. I鈥檓 from the Basque Country and the Basque language is also geographically surrounded by Romance languages but is a language isolate unrelated to them, and indeed, to any other language in the world. I have a friend university teacher of historian and specialized in languages and I ask him about Etruscan.
