Etruria, the region occupied by the Etruscans, was rich in metals, particularly copper and iron. The Etruscans were master bronzesmiths who exported their finished products all over the Mediterranean.

Speaking about Etruscans, have we decipher yet why the Etruscan linguistical roots is seemingly detached from the rest of its region? I went to that rabbithole a couple years ago, but sadly there's not anything close to a conclusion just yet.

I’m from the Basque Country and the Basque language is also geographically surrounded by Romance languages but is a language isolate unrelated to them, and indeed, to any other language in the world. I have a friend university teacher of historian and specialized in languages and I ask him about Etruscan.
