1. Team has a cool idea and builds something

2. Community takes it and runs with it and it explodes in popularity

3. Teams think it exploded in popularity because they are geniuses and start adjusting things

4. Team screws stuff up/attention fades

5. Community members try to help out and give feedback

6. Team ignores this because they are super smart

7. Project continues to crater

8. Team is annoyed at everyone offering advice but they want people to shut up so they form a “community council” where people can shout into the void - and the team never implements anything, but they can pretend they are trying
