At the current difficulty, another solo miner managed to mine a block in the bitcoin network and receive a reward of 3,169 BTC (including commissions) - $181,143 at the exchange rate at the time of mining. This was reported by CKPool administrator Kon Kolivas, noting that this is already 292 blocks mined by a solo miner on the basis of the pool infrastructure

Paxos, which is the issuer of a number of stablecoins including PayPal USD, has laid off 20% of its employees (65 people). CEO Charles Cascarilla said the company is in a "very strong financial position." It has about $500 million on its balance sheet. Paxos intends to focus on tokenization.
