Looking—nay, pleading—for feedback on this NFT concept/experiment. I built it with a former Sotheby’s guy: www.piermontandthorne.com

I love it. It's like if the Museum of Jurassic Technology had an auction house I think when I purchase something I might want to receive a certificate of authenticity

Ooh. You and I are on the same wavelength. I was thinking about creating COA nfts (free with the artifact), but that felt a little like putting a hat on a hat. Then I thought about physical certs. Thoughts?

Hahah hat on a hat. I can see that. I suppose a physical COA might help bridge the NFT a bit more into the real world, like getting a pair of Unisocks. A soulbound NFT that updates on transfer could be interesting, showing provenance of the work (no laundering of digital artifacts!)

Do you think owners might have privacy concerns re: shipping them a physical COA?

Yes some will, definitely. Should probably be an opt-in thing.
