Reached out to Dan and he said that I lost the power badge due to the algorithm.

Basically the algorithm says that I am not interacting with enough power badge users.

Which makes no sense to me, because I am interacting with power badge users on a daily basis.

Algorithm has a flaw, but Dan doesn’t see it that way.

I actually find this interesting at a gut level. Seems like something worth scratching @dwr.eth.

Account feels genuine, interactions have felt positive sum, has many followers, PB engages and others engage.

Intuitively something feels off, admittedly, intuition may be off.

How do you create an algorithm that identifies genuine? :)

Definitely not an answer I expect anyone to have, it’s a tough one.

But to me, definitely is something off when people who are clearly engagement farming with low effort content (e.g. kylepatrick) are being rewarded the most on this platform, over quality content.

+ the power badge helps them with a massive boost.
