Slightly off topic for the EVM channel but in some ways not. As a long time solidity dev and defi user I’ve been intrigued by a protocol on BTC layer 1 called CBRC-20, a “metaprotocol” (like BRC-20) which promises to support many of the token composability features found on other smart contract chains.

I think many in this channel might find it interesting if you haven’t come across it yet.
