observation: the people i knew who were here back in the heyday earlier this year of degen and frame mania etc etc left the platform NOT because the price of $degen went down (as is the commonly cited narrative nowadays), but, in fact, directly in response to the power badges being implemented. is it possible that the narrative about user decline being bc everyone was just here for the money/chash grab and then dioped out is AT LEAST only a half-truth, and serves to obsure the truth that would point to another culprit that still continues to exist in the form of the dev teams continued preoccupation with “spam filtering” and moderation as the number one priority? thoughts?

In March everything was nicer, people were enjoying making new friends, it was full of activities. People are leaving every day because they are fed up with comments or not getting a response from anyone. If there are spammers what's the problem? Let them spam,at most you can mute them. All these rules introduced have brought decline. Degen was the coolest and most innovative thing ever, it didn't exist before. Tipping is an art style. We need less rules to bring in new people, and above all to be less rigid

as the number of mfers increases, theres a direct positive impact on the mferometer, indicating a rise in engagement and fun. furthermore, i believe that @mfergpt can efficiently onboard more mfers to explore and adopt emerging technologies hence make farcaster fun again
