Having A Bike
Having a bike is wonders and sights,
Natural vibes full of sound and delight,
In the sunshine - with the light in your eyes,
Feeling in flight up as high as a kite!
Having a bike is falling and scrapes,
Full on careen on some marginal brakes,
Wobble and slide through them slippery planes,
Bruises abide with sharp pains from your sprains.
Having a bike is glowing and sweat,
Eat what you please, like juicy baguettes,
Weaving through trees and wondrous vignettes,
Glide through cities, your worries forget.
Having a bike is chaos and muck,
Smudges and grime, and riding your luck,
Danger at night, evading the trucks,
Getting in fights with drivers who suck!!!
