Hey car experts - are hybrids worth getting?

Looking at getting a RAV4 but receiving conflicting opinions on whether hybrid (not plug in) or gas model is best. Expecting driving 10-15,000 KM a year  

(don’t shill me on Tesla plz, will be in cold rural mountain area)

Need to know a bit more of what you need the car for

Gas is more reliable and cheaper maintenance

Someone mentioned something about yachts in the meta verse and now I’m chronically on-chain

Occasional commutes of 200KM

Otherwise just safely arriving from point a to point b in all weather conditions (snow possible)

RAV4 seemed like a good no frills option
