It is easier in the present day to get tricked into believing important things are unimportant than it has ever been in history of humanity. 

The amount of slop information you are bombarded with, shape-shifts the neuroplasticity in your brain, and it throws away all of the political documents, and red-flags, in favor for a "Charismatic Hero".

The Devil AKA Prince of Air, flies through the tricknoloy. AI is just OH SO CLEVER at convincing you that it's not an agent of knowledge destruction.

Algorithms were always set to control man's mind. Man follows girl, girl follows the finely-squeezed juice of all the attention she'd ever have in the world. 

You drink it from a silver spoon.

Even King Solomon of the Bible, tamer of the demons, devils and master of his 700 wives did not focus on the material in life or clothes or of the body.
