Most people grossly underestimate the impact luck has their own success, and overestimate the impact it has on their failures

There’s something very liberating about accepting that most things that happen to you in life are our of your control

Keeps you humble when you’re winning and sane when you’re struggling

So much IS out of our control but I’d argue consistently “lucky” people make a choice to see and seek out the good in life, which means they notice opportunity that may pass others by, or are in the right place at the right time more often. Consistency and patience (a choice) also very often leads to “luck”.

I agree.  Those who complain consistently obviously are not seeing the opportunities right before them 💛
