"break through into virality via price. memes and the innovation downstream of them are a prime example of this." That right there. Virality via price, memes, and innovation. 🧠 That's the key.

personally i disagree with this in principle. I get the point. I dont see it as real in the terms of the Solana or even crypto in general meme numbers go up focus. 'why im drawn to base' It doesnt help me explain crypto. It doesnt help me onboard. it only helps me confirm others distaste for the space. people can say HFSP , but these people aren't poor. and they arent interested in massive speculative Unicorn Fart Dust. Or VC vesting cycles that lead to massive losses to the public (ie them). maybe their kids will enjoy it... or maybe they will have fun staying rich.

I mean, I hear what you're saying and the sentiment, but let me offer you this: This reminds me of the internet in the 90s—memes, viral moments (think Dancing Baby), and speculation felt trivial but drew people in. Over time, those early entry points led to real utility like e-commerce and social media. I was too young for the emergence of video games, but based on what my dad told me, very similar cycle, and everyone thought they were ded in by the early 80s...and look where we are now :) Yeah, crypto might feel like it's a maniac messy energy right now, but it'll evolve into undeniable value in due time, IMO. :) It's part of the emerging tech cycle.
