I'm from California originally, so we're used to the cross country travel...figure about 5-6 hours.
So I'll honest with you...I can give you an assurance, that the actual flight is not that bad, and your kids will probably be OK.
The worst part? THE BAGS!!!
Holy crap, I mean right off the bat, you're checking in 2 car seats...then you have bags for 4 people. Not sure if your 3 year old rides in strollers, but figure that's another bag, if so.
You have to rent an Uber XXL (unless if you have family or friend who has a BIG car, a regular SUV will cut it), and then install those car seats when the Uber arrives, and then pack all those bags, then unpack all those bags and uninstall those car seats AND PACK those car seats in bag...then carry all that stuff to bag drop.
Repeat but in reverse fun process at baggage claim.
Legit, the bags are by far the worst part of it all...might be the hardest thing I've done in my life 0 reply
