so based on 5 other accessories, overlaid on each other, moving gnars icon left by 1 pixel lands in directly in the centre.

i see that as being closer to the right arm of the noun's body, so it's a bit off centre on the body, but is centred with the noggles.

but ultimately more in line with existing nouns accessories.

will provide a comparison view of all the options i tried next.

proposal placement (↖) within common bounds, while one pixel to left (↗) is central to common bounds.

should i edit prop from ↖ to ↗ ??

gnarly hand in the pocket looks best imo, quite differentiated from the other traits.
