Aave V3 finally launches on ZKsync Era mainnet. This is a big deal for DeFi on ZKsync. What does this mean for ZKsync users and the chain? Broader DeFi opportunities - the combination of Aave’s lending capabilities and the GHO stablecoin means more diverse financial products available to users. Potential for boosted ecosystem growth - With Aave now live, we might see more DeFi projects attracted to ZKsync. When combined with builder incentives, this could lead to increased developer interest, a stronger ecosystem, and better chances at long-term growth. What do you think of Aave's launch on ZKsync? Polynomial Trade just launched their Layer2 chain, Polynomial Chain, which is designed to scale on-chain derivatives trading and solve some of the scalability and liquidity challenges that exist in DeFi currently. Built on the OP Stack, Polynomial Chain's native liquidity layer offers a single unified pool of liquidity that is accessible across various financial products, such as perpetual swaps and prediction markets. They previously announced retroactive points for their early users and members of certain ecosystems. These retro points can be claimed by making a deposit on the new chain. The launch of the chain has kickstarted their points program which incentivizes early stakers to provide liquidity and earn points, which will lead to Polynomial token rewards. Early stakers can deposit USDC, sDAI, and sUSDe to earn staking points, and can also earn points by referring others, and completing educational and social engagement missions. When social platforms reward engagement monetarily, they incentivise creators to produce shitty content. Ridiculous & inflammatory content 😑 = higher engagement πŸ“ˆ = more rewards πŸ€‘= more crappy content. 🀬🀑 It's a vicious cycle that lowers content quality. What's a good way to fix this?
