This is a monastery in the middle of a lagoon…  

I went go the lagoon hoping to take some photos of flamingos and other birds, as there is a birds reservoir there. 

While I was having a chat with the priest, I learned that he was also an amateur photographer, and he told me where to find the birds. 

But birds were gone as the weather suddenly signaled a storm coming…
