Farcast or first cast for me?

This is my second cycle; class of 2020. I feel late compared to some of you nerds (in a good way), but know I’m early compared to where we’re going.

Here’s the thing, I was a bitcoin maxi until earlier this year I began venturing out of my comfort zone.

Coming from the tradfi world, the supply/demand dynamics of Bitcoin just clicked for me. With an overwhelmingly generous Federal Reserve and a Government on a shopping spree, our “full faith and credit” to the US government began evaporating. I parked my whole portfolio in BTC, round tripped 2020 cycle & then some.

But hey, everyone gets the price they deserve.

It’s not as enjoyable as it once was to watch my portfolio, nested in the most intangible asset, grow larger and larger. That’s not to say I don’t value Bitcoin. I believe it’s the greatest savings technology of our time. And ever!

I always thought there was “just bitcoin or fraud”.

But the larger gains in other tokens gave me FOMO. I started playing around with multiple different wallets and protocols, even admittedly aping into egregious meme coins to learn through trial and error.

I learned there is way more out there than just Bitcoin.

My FOMO and curiosity led me to Farcast. The amount of brilliant minds on here is impressing.

DeFi, DePin, Gaming, of course SocialFi and more have consumed me.

I hope to continue learning & exploring and am eager to play a role in the development of the space.

I got fleeced, as did many others, from CEX collapses. I said goodbye to those funds and hodled the other 90% of my assets in cold storage for 4+ years.

Felt great when the prices came ripping back, especially as a “told you so” to all the CFA’s who play the “there’s no intrinsic value” card.
