India has this whole ' blockchain not bitcoin' thing going. What that translated to is private not public chains (I suppose that's understandable on some level, though I'm a public chain maxi). Nonetheless, good progress has been made with private uses of blockchain. Good parliamentary answer on the state of public chains in India used by the Govt.
