I wish there were new songs that sound like old nu metal. There's something in the sound and arrangements of the first albums of legendary nu metal bands that got lost over the years, some examples:

- Blind from Korn's Korn album (1994)
- Eyeless from Slipknot's Slipknot album (1999)
- Bored from Deftones's Adrenaline album (1995)

All these are songs from the first albums of each band, and are pre-2000.
