Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS is getting brighter by the day and should hopefully be visible to the naked eye as we get into October. Here’s one of Neowise from the Mojave desert. Hopefully it will outshine Neowise at its brightest.

qc your favorite photo in your gallery For me there will never be 1 single photo that is my favorite, but this one is definitely up there. My goal in photography is to show the unique angles of my home under beautiful conditions. The surf to snow slogan truly encompasses what Los Angeles has to offer and I've chased this shot for YEARS before I was able to finally capture what you see here. Everything aligned just right with a storm clearing at sunset to clear the smog in the air, a cold enough storm allowing snow to fall on the lower peaks, and golden light hitting the beach city in the foreground. This entire shot spans Redondo Beach in the foreground, the famous Hollywood sign in the middle, and the San Gabriel mountains in the back.

A slightly different perspective than the last photo I posted. The last photo was compressed at 600mm skewing the perspective a lot.
