no. identity is definitely more than that. owning an address and a name to associate with are just the first steps. the whole concept of identity has changed so much in the past decades. best examples are physical IDs and (often multiple) social accounts. what has changed as well is how people relate to these different forms of identity. i believe that owning your virtual identity should be part of this progression and i don’t think social media accounts, like they exist now, will be the end-game. but that’s just my personal view
