It was founded on April 5, 1993 by these people: 
1- Taiwanese-American Jen Sun Huang, he was the former director of CoreWare at LSI Logic and a designer , 2- Chris Malkowski, an electrical engineer who worked at Sun Microsystems, and 3- Curtis Prim, a senior engineer.  and former chip designers at Sun Microsystems.

With their extensive experience and knowledge in the field of chip design and hardware systems, these three people founded Nvidia as one of the leaders in the graphics and image processing industry.
