It's a shame that even people who call themselves believers are always quick to join the world in scoffing at anything from the church the world wants to make jest of and paint ugly. 

As a child of God you should know that any attack on any body of Christ is a direct orchestrated attack from the pit of hell to take the minds of the lost souls on the fearful acts and doings of God thereby limiting God's unimaginable prowess. Caution yourself that you don't quickly join this train of the world always pushing and looking for available opportunities to dent the church or scoff at spiritual things. 
Paul said this when he mentioned it'll be one of the signs of the endtime in 2Timothy 3:1-5
"For people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God"

Whether any information is true or false, learn to be silent and decern things of the spirit. The devil is a very smart bastard. Selah!
