In 2009, the first block was 50 bitcoins. Then, by halving the receipt of each block and performing the third halving, the receipt of each BTC block decreased to 6.25 bitcoins. The next halving of the king of cryptocurrencies is expected to take place in 2024, reducing each block to 3,125 bitcoins.
