I find Ancient Egypt fascinating. I have a more actual question. Can the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam have any known impact on the Ancient Egypt construction legacy ?

If you mean in terms of flooding if the dam is demolished. Yes, because it will raise the water level to a very high degree, which will cause a large flood in Sudan and a slightly smaller one in Egypt due to the distance.

In that sense, yes I was thinking about long term collateral social and economical impacts. 95 % of the water needs of Egypt depend on the Nile. And when economy is unstable, culture is the first to suffer. We’ve seen that in 2011 Water was through History a major component of rise and collapse of Civilizations

yes. this is true but till now we didn't wetness any water shortage. maybe in the future this will happen but I'm sure something will be done to fix such issue. I don't want to get politically because the dam building decision was one sided. which is wrong to do when you have other countries on the same Nile
