Gm!β¨οΈ Yesterday, I finished prepping our route for our trip to France. We leave the last weekend of June for two weeks. Hubby and I have been researching on and off since January. It takes a lot of patience and planning to do what we do, and not many people know what goes on behind the scenes. Our goal is to visit all the green pins. The others are backup spots. We will be in the car every day between 5 and 6 hours. The rest of the day, we will be exploring and photographing abandoned places. We book hotels or airbnbs that provide breakfast so we can grab and go, and we stop for lunch at grocery stores so we can grab and go. We only sit down for dinners because we don't have time to waste. It's definitely not a typical vacation. When we get home, we are exhausted. But it's a labor of love as there is nothing we would rather be doing.π€

Wellllll we hit 46 places in Italy last year in the same time frame (12 were locked up and inaccessible). France is bigger so more ground to cover, but France is not as easy as italy, so more might be closed. But also some are boring inside and I just want to drone the beautiful exterior, so thats quick. So we are dreaming big!π―
