Probably yes, from a political standpoint. But from a philosophical standpoint he was one of the very few realizing the impossibility of an eternal, immutable principle (thus the "there's no rule" his characters are hands down in). He was the ultimate frontier of nihilism (ontologically speaking). Just my opinion 😊
