one feeling i’ve gotten used to over the years is people who as early AF to a market thinking i am late yah, i buy higher, but with much less risk i also tend to hold much, much longer than they do

This is the behavior we should have in the markets. If you have found a good product to invest in, it is better for big money to buy it in good market conditions. It also proves that your investment thinking is correct.
