Is reading two books in a different category simultaneously a good thing?

I started reading about VC funding (Venture Deals) and Procrastination (Eat that Frog!) together weeks back and found myself reading the first more than the latter. 

Has anyone faced a similar situation?

Understand… then I think it's mainly about the best narration and the current knowledge requirement.

im currently reading 3 in different categories:
- neuromancer
- bitcoin standard
- the amber spyglass

same thing happens to me, i tend to read more on a single, the one that captures me the most.
