some musings after digging around on $SPECTRA

$Spectra is the play I am referring to and was  earlier known as APwine but they wanted to do something bigger and went into silent build mode for 2 years

I like this play because the very tech used by one of CT favorite yield protocol $PENDLE was built by the founder of @spectra_finance

- migrated from APW to @spectra_finance (on X) with supply reduced by 15% as well

Thanks to the revamp, Spectra is the one and only project that offers permissionless yield tokenization unlike Pendle which needs intervention at each step — we saw this recently with Wintermute pushing txs using Specta

Only competition is pendle which is basically the brain child of Spectra that is fully permissioned but sitting at billions of mc

I won’t say $SPECTRA is a beta to $PENDLE but rather an alpha omega to an alpha play :)

TVL has been parabolic since pivoting to base as @phtevenstrong (on X) shares some strategies to earn interesting yields on stable

usually defi is fun on base, and i think spectra just found an avenue to become on of the leading protocols on base in coming weeks
