There were many Rising Echoes that never saw the light. 

This thread is a small tribute to them ✍️🧵

The first WIP I have saved is dated March 12, 2023. 

The idea came to me one of many nights when I was experimenting with different techniques to generate 3D effects using 2D manipulations.

Generative code artist, trying to abstract this world into shapes and colors. fxhash and Vivid.

The first experiments with composition and color came in the middle of that month.

Then came adjustments of all kinds, bug fixes and the project was beginning to take shape.

The edges of the figures began to gain prominence within the work generating more depth.

I love the ones in black and white.

I continued in the following month working on the colors, making many tests and trying with the negatives.

Adjusting the composition and seeking the limits of the algorithm.

I continued adding transformations to the pieces, rotating them and changing their size to generate figures with volume that were not only straight.

I tried many things that I ended up discarding. Joints between pieces, empty holes, cut pieces and much more.

Of course there were wonderful bugs throughout the process.

Finally came the idea of using science fiction posters from the 40's-50's-60's to extract some of the palettes that would finally be in the work.
