Announcing HydraDAO's first research project: "Restoration of motor function after complete transection of the spinal cord" We're honored to push the limits of replacement with Michael Lebenstein-Gumovski, PhD who has achieved a breakthrough in spinal cord fusion for fully transected spinal cords. Results have been demonstrated in: - 20 pigs 🐖 - 40 rabbits 🐇 Over 15,000,000 people are living with spinal cord injuries with 900,000 new cases every year. With HydraDAO's funding, we will advance this protocol which has been in development for years to determine the optimal combination of neuro-protectors, fusogens and electrical stimulation, help patients who are suffering today, and bring us one step closer to whole-body replacement. ❤️‍🔥

Mi forma de actuar no será la misma si yo tengo una imagen de mí mismo del tipo “soy como soy y punto, qué le vamos a hacer” (mentalidad fija) o una imagen de mí mismo según la cual sé que, como cualquier otro ser humano, puedo cambiar y desarrollar ciertas competencias mediante el esfuerzo y el trabajo constantes (mentalidad acrescente)

sabías que la discapacidad física con dificultades para desplazarse modifica la percepción del tiempo (no pasa el tiempo) y el espacio (todo se aleja). Es una de las causas más frecuentes por las que las personas solicitan la eutanasia o el suicidio médicamente asistido (van den Berg et al., 2021).
