And for anyone who worries too many L2s are copy/pastes of each other, yes I agree but the beauty of DeFi is we can permissionlessly show our support by depositing or withdrawing our assets onchain. 

Free markets and competition will allow the truly unique L2s with lasting communities of builders, users, and app capital to thrive while others die off.

Part of what makes Ethereum so great is it is this experimentation in radically free markets.
