A single Bitcoin miner managed to solve block 860,749 and received a reward of around $180,000. The block, which was mined on September 10, contained nearly 6,000 transactions and awarded miners 3,169 bitcoins. Solving blocks by individual miners is extremely rare, with only 290 blocks solved by miners out of a total of 859,000 blocks produced since Bitcoin's launch in 2009.
