Part of that is that early project has lots of rewards in itself because you’re often breaking new ground and having lots of fun which is rewarding in itself

An even more pernicious version of this is get idea > start project > finish project > fail to tell everyone (marketing) > fail to monetise 

Having that loop active helps with shiny object syndrome

What you said is true, the thing is to tell about your project/product to your friends -> get feedback -> validate the idea and then finish the project 🙂‍↕️
