Trying out Cursor today, the VSCode "fork" that leverages AI right inside your editor. So far it saved me a considerable amount of time and I am afraid i am liking it a little bit too much π€ Little scared my brain won't be able to code as snappily on its own if I abuse of it tho, it's so much easier than asking GPT or Claude via chat, bc it has all the context right away and it basically creates a sort of git PR inside your editor. Have you guys try it yet?

I think it's just a new layer of abstraction on top of high-level / low-level languages. Allows you to get more done. Of course, it's important to understand what's going on, and be able to rectify details, so your codebase doesn't become an LLM-generated blackbox.
