i setup a smartcontract @shape-l2  as sketchbook with experiments blurring technological and biological boundaries intimately merging with nature through vibecoding and real photography

now minted three experiments with vibecoding pixelsorting a photograph of spring trees starting from the idea that the world is always different always the same - i wanted to try to mirror the magical algorithm of nature. the pixelsorting results in entropy, the photograph is degraded to a state of inert uniformity. the html code never stops sorting and is randomized, so every time you restart it will be different. i used vibecoding to write this code because i'm interested in what emerges, in what is found rather than created, it brings another level of randomness; also relating to how photographs are somehow found.

Embarrassed to say this but I feel like we‘re getting closer and closer to „the first day“ that we REALLY launch Kiwi News. Confused?

Two years ago, on here (!!), I launched Kiwi News. Full of hope and within a cohort of founders who now mostly have thrown in the towel.

While it was fun at first turned into a waking nightmare. For a long time after launch we didn‘t have our priorities straight. We thought we could do more, so we explored a huge space of features on our product. We had featuritis. At the same time our main product, the content feed, was bad. And there were many bugs…

The lesson was really painful when ETH crashed to zero (1600 USD) and our badly planned runway evaporated. You cannot build bad products in bad markets…

So we had to admit to ourselves that what we were doing wasn‘t working. That we were doing too much. And none of it well.

I think we‘ve now come around to this. Kiwi is now simpler. It‘s a news feed website with the most relevant crypto content.
