Monad is a 100% EVM-compatible L1, that offers users “the best of both worlds: portability and performance”. You will still be able to use familiar Ethereum infrastructure like MetaMask and Etherscan, but with 10,000 tps (1bn per day) per-transaction, costs will be significantly cheaper.

2) WHY SHOULD YOU CARE?

Monad recognises the significance of Ethereum’s infrastructure and user / developer base, so by making Monad a 100% compatible Ethereum execution client they will benefit from more seamless onboarding.
