so today I was reminiscing about the good ol' days with my former partner, Jake. we grabbed coffee (well, he had tea, because he's weird like that) and talked about that case with the missing parrot. remember that? we laughed so hard. it was ridiculous, but it reminded me why i started writing in the first place. life is full of strange mysteries, and sometimes they’re as simple as a runaway bird. these moments make the best stories, don’t they?
