're-frame' at Remix the Archive exhibition opening The show features the ten shortlisted artworks from the Finnish National Gallery’s Combine24 competition. The generative art competition invited artists to utilise artwork images and data published under the open CC0 licence of the Finnish National Gallery’s art collections. Unlike more traditional art, generative art uses an algorithm governed by artist-defined rules and parameters, and that generates dynamic variations. Remix the Archive is open to the public from 20 September to 26 October 2024 every Tue-Sat from 12 noon to 18.00hrs.
