Liked reading this. Have you thought about old school social media’s amplification of divisive provocateurs and fear mongers—how those players might fair differently (better or worse) onchain? Elon Musk deleting “your account” sounds bad. YouTube deleting Alex Jones’s, IMO, less so.

I went on a birding trip just before the new year with guide nando and his son—same location and same birds + nearly identical photos. The birds are common there but we did bird w a group whose members I didn’t completely know

What? no!! I’ve watched much of that series but not all. Investigating rn! Every Saturday at 9 in Greenpoint we do walks that feature non-birder types. Meaning WHEN NOT IF you go deep on birds you can stay cool/closeted (though u should defo live out loud and proud 🦢)

I have seen! It’s banaynays. You sound bird curious. I must try to push you over the ledge. NYC is about to have many “exotic” birds passing through, late April to early June — for spring migration. Many are small but some like Scarlet Tanagers and Rose-breasted Grosbeaks are facemelters viewable by naked eye

Red-tailed Hawk Homie ❤️ Most hawks you see perched in cities are RTs. They vary in color but are big, relatively short-tailed, have a certain shape/lük. There are a few falcon types around nyc but they all have versions of the classic eye of Horus style mask.
