One interesting thing about Base network is that it's built on Optimistic Rollups, making it an Ethereum Layer 2 solution. This allows Base to offer faster and cheaper transactions while benefiting from Ethereum's security and decentralization. It's also developed by Coinbase, which integrates it deeply into their platform, aiming to onboard millions of new users into the decentralized web. This is why I find it quite interesting that @cheddarfi is integrating on Base soon. It will be a welcomed development for both parties.
