Me on the Uber app: requests “quiet preferred” Uber driver to me as soon as I get in the car: “I dated a few ladies in Florida. God, they were so boring! Ladies in Denver are much more exciting, they can go to hike, to lake, to this, to that. I think, I only moved here two months ago. Where are you from?”

Uber drivers in the US are so talkative, I guess it’s a cultural. Probably local people would rate them lower if they don’t talk - that’s what I always thought, all the small talk. I don’t wanna talk when I’m in taxi and but I don’t wanna get a bad uber raring either 🤷♀️What to do
