One thing is clear that fees rule the valuations game in the long run(except Bitcoin as it is like the pet rock Gold) Ethereum had much higher valuation compared to other alt1’s due to generation of high fees. Scaling Ethereum has reduced its fees as demand has not increased as much as scaling has been done via multiple L2’s and DA layers. Solana rose to higher valuation due to memecoin bubble and the major activity of it being on Solana, now when memecoin activity has decreased the price of $SOL also decreased. Next parabolic run will with the new hot use-case like ICO’s, Defi & NFTs.

For now it looks like market is rejecting 93k levels and want to go lower. 93k was crucial support earlier which has become a string resistance now. All bets are off until US crypto summit. What can happen in crypto summit? Allocation of crypto strategic reserves is on cards. Incentives to build in crypto? Tax benefits for crypto holders? Other two can be a positive surprise which can push the price above the crucial 93k levels. Trump has brought a-lot of volatility in the market. Tomorrow should be an eventful day.

Crypto strategic reserve was announced yesterday & the crypto market is in red today. This is a reminder that crypto market is a small subset of the global economy. The macro factors of the global economy out-weight the biggest catalyst on the crypto market. US govt. has announced that there will be investment announcement soon where people will probably know individual allocation of the crypto strategic reserve. US govt has also kept the first crypto summit and speculation is that there will be an announce of tax breaks on crypto investments. Let’s see how market reacts to upcoming news.

If there is a central depositary who holds assets instead of exchange & assets are only released when trader sells or withdraw, it will be better. Sell trade & withdrawal can also be done once trader confirms it by providing OTP received on phone number. This saves stress of an exchange getting hacked, exchange using funds for trading or their own business. Central depositary has only one job to custody the funds. Depository can charge a fee which will be minimal as number of users are in millions. All ETF’s and Ethena follow this model and keep assets in custodian with tri-party agreement.

100 billion is supply for Pi netowrk. The FDV is at 82 billion at the current market price. Reason? It is an L1. Most of the tokens are locked. Liquidation is only allowed via few selected exchanges. It is another high fdv low float launch. This one is quiet successful in terms of launch I would say but the way pi networks has delivered until now this is going to be one of the big disappointments in the coming months it seems. People buying this coin tells you how many people with throw away money are in our industry. If we do not value good products builders won’t value us in the future.

@jessepollak Hi Jesse, I wanted to inquire if it’s possible to build on top of Base Names. I have an idea of automatic the transfer of Base Names for NFT collections and memecoins. This concept has already been implemented on Linea for collections like Efrogs and Efroglets, showcasing its viability. I believe enabling users to leave their mark on-chain via Base Names would be a valuable feature. It allows users to showcase their ownership through their Base Name without requiring others to manually verify portfolios. It would also contribute to making the chain more human-readable and user-friendly. For example: If I own #1 No-Punks, I would receive the Base Name 1.no-punks.base.eth. If the NFT is sold, the Base Name would automatically transfer to the new owner. Thread 1/2

Next 2-4 weeks might face a strong selling pressure on crypto markets considering the ongoing shit show & upcoming 2 billion USD worth of unlocks in $SOL. I believe $SOL has an ability to bounce back but this series of events will decrease the probability of completely dominating the market the way $SOL has done for last 12-18months. AI and Gaming are my top alt picks. I believe sticking to the leaders in this sector will be the best as there is no certainty of a broader alt run. I have lost respect for many in the space. We must not believe KOL’s. People are just trying to extract. #Beware

President of Argentina rugged. The coin ca was posted on both X & Instagram, the post stayed for hours as a pinned post & later it was deleted once the rug was executed. The president did not even care about giving any explanation. $TRUMP gave open invitation to the world to make memes & rug. These action require investigations. Solana bulls are celebrating that all this nonsense is happening on Solana and not Ethereum. These insiders will dump $SOL dramatically there is nothing to celebrate here. Market is draining out of liquidity & $SOL reserves are going into the hands of the criminals.

Sentiments says bottom is close. I heard pump fun is coming with a token. I believe they want to list soon, as they think the demand for pump.fun/memes will go down soon. All projects try to list at best possible times, pump.fun is not different. No-one is talking about restaking after $EIGEN token was dropped. The meta usually goes down in demand once the biggest token in the sector is out. If this happens the recovery in sentiment should come with a bid on utility alts or AI tokens. This is my view and more of a wish so there is a bias here I believe.
